The inauguration of the Ben Sina School Students Well Project in Taiz Governorate

In line with our projects in the field of water and environmental sanitation, and as part of our contribution to easing the burden of the search for drinking water, We have opened a well for students of Bin Sina School in the village of Al-Kadma, Al-Mokha District, Taiz Governorate. The well is going to help more than 450 people to get drinking water.
It is worth noting that many villages and cities in Yemen suffer from a lack of clean, healthy water, and some families are forced to walk for hours in search of a drink of water.

According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), “more than 16 million people in Yemen, including 8.47 million children, are in urgent need of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) assistance, access to clean and safe drinking, otherwise, they are at heightened risk of water-borne diseases, malnutrition, and other life-threatening conditions.”
