Güzel Eser Association Provided Health Services to 1,490 People in Yemen

The Güzel Eser Humanitarian Aid Association successfully completed the “Emergency Health Screening” project for the local population struggling to access health services in the Taiz region of Yemen. As part of the project, health services were provided to a total of 1,490 people through 2 mobile clinics supplied by the association. This project was carried out to prevent epidemic diseases and address existing health problems in areas with limited access to health services.

Project Purpose and Scope
The civil war and economic crisis in Yemen have led to the collapse of the healthcare infrastructure and made it difficult for people to access basic health services. In this context, the Beautiful Work Association aimed to meet the health needs of the population by conducting health screenings through mobile clinics in areas that cannot access health services and are at risk of epidemic diseases.

Activities Carried Out
The following health services were provided in the mobile clinics as part of the project:

  • General health screenings: The general health status of the population was assessed, and existing health problems were identified.

  • Epidemic disease screenings: Screenings were conducted for diseases that pose a risk of epidemic (such as cholera, malaria).

  • Medication supply: Necessary medications for identified health problems were provided and distributed to patients.

  • Health education: Training was provided to raise awareness about health issues among the population.

Project Impact and Importance
This project is of great importance for people living in areas with limited access to health services in Yemen. Thanks to the services provided, 1,490 people found solutions to their health problems and contributed to the prevention of epidemic diseases. Additionally, the use of mobile clinics increases the accessibility of health services, ensuring that similar projects can be sustainable in the future.

The Güzel Eser Association extends its gratitude to the donors who supported the realization of this project. Thanks to the donors, solutions have been found for health problems in Yemen, and the quality of life of the population has been improved.
