Drinking Water Distribution Project in Taiz, Yemen Supports Thousands of Families
Istanbul – Güzel Eser Humanitarian Aid Association successfully continues its drinking water assistance efforts in Taiz province of Yemen, which began in 2022. The association distributed water using 32 water tankers in a project aimed at supporting displaced and impoverished families. Through this project, more than 1,760 families gained access to clean drinking water.
This effort stands out as one of the significant humanitarian aid initiatives aimed at contributing to overcoming poverty and the water crisis in Yemen. According to United Nations data, more than 21 million people in the country—about 70% of the population—lack access to clean drinking water and sanitation services.
Güzel Eser Association announced that it will continue to support the people of Yemen and contribute to improving their living conditions through such projects.
